JENOPTIK

The Jenoptik Group is a large multinational that breaks down its industrial activities into five divisions: Laser and Materials Transformation, Optical Systems, Industrial Metrology, Mobility Solutions and Civil Defense Activities.

Jenoptik's customers are mainly companies in the semiconductor and equipment manufacturing industry, the automotive industry, automotive suppliers, medical technology, security and defense technology manufacturers as well as the aviation industry, all over the world.

The Jenoptik Group's headquarters are in Jena, Germany. In addition to several manufacturing and commercial sites in Germany, Jenoptik is represented in more than 80 countries around the world with commercial, production and assembly locations in the United States, France, China and Switzerland. The Group is also represented by branches in Australia, Brazil, the Czech Republic, India, Japan, Korea, the Netherlands, Malaysia, Mexico, Russia, Singapore and the United Kingdom.

Our industrial metrology partner is Hommel Etamic, the Jenoptik Group's Metrology Division, which is the leading manufacturer and supplier of high-precision and tactile high-precision metrology production systems. The product range includes complete solutions for a wide range of measurement tasks such as test surfaces or shapes (which determine dimensional tolerances at all stages of the manufacturing process) and the final inspection in production or in a laboratory of metrology.
Jenoptik's product portfolio is complemented by a wide range of consulting, training and services services, including long-term maintenance contracts.

With Hommel Etamic and Hommel Movomatic, precision is our business!

Opticline C Series

Measuring, with high precision, turned/ground shafts and parts has a long tradition at Hommel-Etamic. The company's founder, Hermann Hommel, revolutionized measurement technology with his products, setting new standards.

This adventure that began a full 125 years ago now allows the OPTICLINE range to be a benchmark for precision and quality in this field.

Expertise in non-contact shaft measurement technology in production is coupled with a level of excellence in performance to provide customers with an investment that pays for itself quickly, whether it is one-man operated SPC control stations or instead fully automated systems for a total in-line control function.

Measurement technology in manufacturing environments requires high levels of technology and quality. OPTICLINE systems are the only ones that meet these requirements. Hardware and software are optimized for use in the production environment and offer very reliable performance especially in the long run.

The solid and durable structure of the system is designed and optimized with respect to the conditions of use on the shop floor. Operator operation is supported by intelligent and intuitive human-machine interfaces. The use of the measuring systems is decidedly simple. The creation of control programs is carried out in a matter of minutes, with guided solutions.

The creation of measurement programs, representation and processing of measurement results are done intuitively with a modern grafic interface.

Depending on the type of measurement, standard functions can be combined as desired for automatic and optimized execution. If measurement programs have not yet been created, the part is loaded, scanned fully or user-defined, and then the part profile is stored. This process takes only a few seconds. Immediately thereafter, the desired feature can be selected with a simple mouse click-define control settings such as nominal values and tolerances. On average, a new program with about 20 features can be created in only 5 minutes.

The measurement results are available a few seconds after the automatic measurement is started. At this point, the measured values can be represented on screen with different views, printed or exported through the integrated interfaces. An integrated data storage tool allows you to easily manage and store measurement results.

The TOLARIS software contains all the tools for the analysis of results and data.

The calibration status of the measurement systems is automatically monitored by calibrated thickness/ diameter rings and temperature sensors, which also form the basis for any intelligent, integrated and active thermal compensation. These rings replace an additional sample gauge in daily use. Temperature compensation is carried out fully automatically, during the start of each measurement. Optionally, you can also take into account.

The OPTICLINE systems are a flexible and modern solution able to fully meet the growing demand for applications in production. The measurements are carried out homogeneously and not subjectively.

The OPTICLINE range offers a wide range of products, designed to meet control needs on small but also on large details.

The complete general catalogue will be able to best illustrate the full range of products and accessories available.
